Jo studied and worked in art and craft related environments as a graphic designer, knitwear designer and craft project kit designer and went on to further study with an MA in textile design.

Her most recent works are fine art prints of original mixed media paintings and mono prints.

Jo’s work is an exploration of the medium with the work being a process of development letting subconscious intuition take over and becoming immersed in the physical activity of using paper and paint. Haptic skills are key.

A lively interpretation of the environment and natural forms alongside changing seasonal colours, the time of year plays a big part in colour selection and the paintings have a sense of reflective consideration to them.
