Making papers for collage

I've been using the gel plate to print some collage papers using a cardboard tube and wrapping it with yarn to then roll over the inked gel plate. An easy and cost effective way to make a decorative brayer.

 

 

Sea State at Wolterton

I’ve visited Wolterton recently for the Sea State exhibition to see the work of Maggi Hambling and Ro Robertson. The house and grounds at Wolterton are a wonderful setting for the exhibition and well worth a visit.

Cyanotypes

On a sunny Monday 2 June I took part in a cyanotype workshop in the beautiful garden at the Bircham Centre in Reepham, Norfolk. This was a technique that I had never tried, so it's always good to add to your knowledge. Great fun to do and quick results!
