A collection of botanical art prints taking inspiration from the change in structure that impermanence gives in nature through the life cycle of plants. The dried husks containing the seeds of the new life cycle of a once vibrant plant have a skeletal beauty that pares down the colour palette to softer tones, focusing the attention on to the monotone shapes.
I combine photography, digital drawing and collage to create my images which are then printed on archival art paper using fade-resistant archival pigment based inks.
